Teen Choice Awards: Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry & other no show celebs

The Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night in Los Angeles was all about honoring the likes of the teens. The intense crowd of youngsters at the Gibson Amphitheatre were intent on showing their opinion about entertainment. Giving out surf boards, the some of the biggest names of entertainment were on hand. The likes of Justin Bieber, Robert Pattinson, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and even Taylor Swift were on hand, but there were so many other celebrities missing

While the evening was built around the five major stars, there were some great younger faces that didn’t find their way to the theater that was missed. Stars like Kesha, Katy Perry and Adele could have really spiced up the show musically and balanced out the air time. Other stars in the entertainment world should have been included for the show, in fact a large list of A-list celebrities was overlooked, all of which the teens love. People like Chris Brown, Ashley Tisdale, Cody Simpson, and even Miley Cyrus would have added to the balance

Sharing the spotlight it wouldn’t have made the show all about the quad-celebs as it was on Sunday night. Giving time to everything teen related it could have brought the balance so badly needed for the show.

It’s pretty obvious not everyone celebrity’s schedule is open for a smaller award show, but in retrospect it would have really added a broader spectrum of people that could have really spiced up the show.
