Hot Tours : Miley Cyrus is No. 5

returns to the top of the Hot Tours rankings as the final leg of the 360° Tour winds down to its late July finale. Box office stats from three venues reported during the past week add $16.8 million to the tour's overall gross total which now stands at an all-time Billboard Boxscore record 676 million. The legendary Irish band played to sellout crowds at stadiums in Miami, Nashville and Chicago, selling over 183,000 tickets in the three markets. The Miami concert on June 29 at Sun Life Stadium drew a crowd of 72,569, the best-attended performance among the three. Nashville's Vanderbilt Stadium hosted the tour on July 2 with 46,857 in attendance, and the ticket sales count at Soldier Field in Chicago (July 5) came in at 64,297.

Aussie pop star Kylie Minogue takes the No. 2 position in the rankings with gross totals reported from the last three markets on the Australian leg of her Aphrodite World Tour. A three-performance run in Melbourne drew more than 25,000 overall to the Rod Laver Arena on June 14, 15 & 16 with sales totals surpassing $3.3 million. Single show appearances in Adelaide on June 18 and in Perth on the 22nd closed out the slate of June concerts Down Under. Reported in a previous week was another three-show total from Sydney along with two shows in Brisbane, making the overall gross from the singer's home country $11.6 million ($12.4 US$) with 89,000 tickets sold at 10 concerts.

Australian box office totals earn two other pop artists a spot among this week's top 10 grossing tours. No. 4 in the rankings is Canadian singer Justin Bieber with performances reported at arenas in the South Australian city of Adelaide as well as Perth in Western Australia. A performance on May 5 at Adelaide Entertainment Centre drew a packed house of 8,510, and the Burswood Dome in Perth had 7,162 in attendance for a sold out show two days later. Nashville native Miley Cyrus is No. 5 with a two-show total from Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. The performances on June 23 & 24 were each sellouts with more than 25,000 tickets sold for both nights combined. The five-market Australian leg of the pop star's Gypsy Heart Tour wrapped on July 2 in Perth. The brief concert tour kicked off in South America on April 29.
